Let's do this!
Artist: Arkells / K. Flay
Hometown: Hamilton, ON
Genre: Rock
Related: Sam Roberts Band, Frank Turner, Hey Rosetta!
Song: You Can Get It (ft. K. Flay)
Notes: The video for You Can Get It is a fun take on Wheel Of Fortune staring Max in the role of Vanna White, while Mike, Nick, Tim, and Anthony play rounds that spell out meaningful experiences we've all longed for throughout the various lockdowns.
"This song is about finding your momentum, the potential energy that's inside of you. The moment when you scream to yourself "I DON'T GIVE A F*CK TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT! YOU CAN GET IT!" So often, the future doesn't just feel unknowable - it feels impossible. We wanted this song to feel like possibility. Like the world is opening up. Like you are powerful." - K.Flay
It's a catchy song with a fun video, that's something we could all use.

Artist: DIRECT HIT!
Hometown: Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
Genre: Punk Rock
Related: The Dopamines, Off With Their Heads, The Holy Mess
Song: HOLLOW COMFORT
Notes: "A good friend of mine sent me the melodies in this song a couple months back as a gift, and I started writing the lyrics about longing for human contact. It turned out to be a song that's more of a brain dump regarding the internet's insidiousness, and how the fear of being lonely or insignificant has kept me and a lot of other people from letting go of the shallow illusion of security it creates. It's ironic that at the same time, the internet also makes us feel small and vulnerable. It's even worse than over the last year, I dunno how we would've survived without it.
I've spent a lot of time during quarantine writing songs about artificial and impossible relationships, as part of a bigger story about an evolved teenager and her robot partner. This one reflects many of the sentiments that have come from trying to write that narrative. More soon." - Nick Woods
Super relatable music, we look forward to what's next.
Artist: Mammoth WVH
Hometown: Santa Monica, CA, USA
Genre: Rock
Related: Van Halen, Bon Jovi, Counting Crows, Tom Petty, Kim Mitchell
Song: Don't Back Down
Notes: My initial reaction, from the opening note, was who said rock music was dead. The video features a full band of Wolfgang Van Halens, and it's pretty badass. If you're looking for amazing rock guitar, this tune is for you.
Mammoth WVH's debut album is due out on June, 11, 2021.

Song: Let The Bad Times Roll
Notes: It's been nine years since The Offspring released an album. Let The Bad Times Roll is The Offspring's tenth studio album and it will be available everywhere on April 16, 2021. It's everything you'd hope for in an Offspring song. It's got an amazingly catchy chorus, fun visuals, and toe-tapping beats.
