NEW: Max Factor Colour Intensifying Balm

By Hollysbeautybox @hollysbeautybox
Max Factor is a brand that I've been using since I was a teenager and it's seen me through some of my darkest (goth makeup) days to best days (neutral everyday makeup) without breaking the bank.
Despite them being around for a long time, there's nothing 'old' about Max Factor.  New releases from the brand pop into my postbox every couple of months and I'm rarely left disappointed with them.
NEW: Max Factor Colour Intensifying Balm
New to the brand right now are the Max Factor Colour Intensifying Balms and I was sent three shades to try out.
These are designed to be applied like a lip balm and have a buildable coverage. One application will give you a sheer balm with a hint of colour, two will give you a tint with a medium coverage and three will give you a pop of color (full coverage).
You would think applying so many layers would make your lips feel cakey and the pigment would look patchy, but actually, because it's a balm, it blends in really well and doesn't feel cakey at all.
I thought it might transfer onto glasses quite easily but actually, surprisingly, this stays put for quite some time. (it smells fruity too!)
I love '20 Luscious Red' the most because I'm a red lip girl at heart and find other colours harder to wear due to my skin tone being so pale and my teeth not being as white as I would like them to be.  The other shades are '10 Charming Coral' and '45 Rich Chocolate'.
Have you tried these out? what are your favorite shades?
x
