British sports car manufacturer, Lotus has unveiled its’ latest vehicle – Lotus Elise S Cup R, a track-tuned car made just for racing.
This is actually an enhanced version of company’s famous street-legal Elise S. However the 2014 Lotus Elise S Cup R features an improved aerodynamic body design with a motorsport-specific ECU. And, inside the hood, there’s a supercharged 1.8-liter engine and six-speed manual transmission, capable of producing 217 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. New race car has been priced at 39,125 British pounds (~ $62,700).

From the looks of it, the Lotus Elise S Cup R will definitely turn a few heads in the upcoming Lotus Cup racing series, which takes place in the U.S., U.K., Italy, Japan, Thailand and China.
