Newcomer Jeremy Glenn’s handing out a 128kbps copy of ‘New Life’, the title track off of his 4-track debut on Future Classic, out soon on both wax and digitally. It’s a gently bobbing, slo-mo nu-disco groover (all the rage these days)… pushing a catchy Daft Punk-esque vocal. Sublime summer beats:
Jeremy Glenn – New Life {128kbps} [pelski highly recommends]
A brooding techno piece here (by way of our friends over at Keytars & Violins). The whole thing starts off pleasant enough, before morphing into an altogether darker beast whereby an omninous hum of techno bass unfolds. With it’s dubbed-out strings and thudding momentum, ‘Dancing Queen’ holds all the menace and atmosphere of a really great soundtrack:
Borngraber & Struver – Dancing Queen {192kbps}
Newcomer Deigors, from Latin American label Cómeme, offers up a slice of bassy, bouncy tech-house. There’s plenty of jittery 808 drum action, drawing both on old school rave and the clanging percussion of Detroit:
Diegors - Unga {320kbps}
