No need to go looking for an e-Bike. This new Kickstarter project for “Barak Electric Bicycle Conversion Kit” aims to help you electrify your old bicycle, without having to spend thousands of dollars on a separate e-Bike. The project comes from Micah Toll, the author of the Ultimate Do-It-Yourself Ebike Guide.

Basically, this easy-to-assemble conversion kit allows you to turn any bicycle into a fast, powerful electric bike. The conversion kits are available in several different packages starting with a 350 watt kit for 20-inch wheel bicycles to 500 watt conversion kits. Making a pledge of $585 or more will get you one of these kits for yourself.
