Lets talk about new goodies from Burt’s Bee, shall we? Burt’s Bee have just recently introduced a new lip balm and two new lip shimmer shades. Both the lip balm and lip shimmers are 100% natural and free from nasty chemicals or animal testing.
Lip shimmers in Grapefruit and Apricot (RRP $9.95) – Formulated with goodies such as vitamin e, fruit oil, sunflower and coconut oil to give your lips the hydration it needs. There is also a hint of peppermint oil which explains the refreshing tingles on my lips every time I apply it. The lip shimmers are very similar to a tinted lip balm but with more intense color pay off.
Grapefruit is a shimmery light pink shade. I found grapefruit a little too frosted for my skin tone and would suit someone who has fairer skin.
Apricot is a nice peachy shade. Between the two, I would pick apricot as it looks nicer on my complexion. It’s perfect to use everyday and can be re-applied as often as you like.
Lip Balm with Coconut & Pear (RRP $6.95) – This new lip balm contains coconut oil, pear extract and shea butter. The coconut and pear scent is absolutely heavenly and smells so delicious! I really like this lip balm probably because I love coconut. This lip balm has a really nice formula and moisturises my dry lips well.
