It’s not too often that we write about a website let alone a blog, but Antioch University’s Educating for Sustainability (EfS) program has launched a new WordPress site that aims to serve as a clearinghouse for EfS materials. The university (located in New Hampshire) currently offers a Master’s degree for EfS, but this site is open to all comers.
The site is a resource for teachers and educators that are looking for information on various topics related to EfS. There are links for curriculum, conferences, and K-12 schools, both public and independent. Included on the list of schools are the Green School in Bali, as well as The College School in Saint Louis. I mention the latter since I attended a conference there several years ago focused on educating for sustainability.
On the homepage there are several informative posts from faculty members at the university. Lastly, there is a section dedicated to organizations – non-governmental and others – working to advance the aims of EfS. Take a look and check it out.
