This is the year. It’s our year. Let’s not let it go to waste, but do good with it.
We have 365 days to be better, to dream bigger, to love harder, to offer more of ourselves to the world and to each other.
Let this be the year we choose present over perfect. Let this be the year we choose grace over guilt. Let this be the year we embrace cheerios in the carpet, new wrinkles around our eyes, and the beautiful mess than accompanies a house full of love. Let this be the year we give freely without expectations; the year we listen more than speak. Let this be the year we are brave, kind, and adventurous in spirit.
Let this be the year we dance in the bathroom and sing in the car.
Let this be the year we read, the year we grow, the year we explore and climb mountains.
Let this be the year of abundant storytelling in His name.
