The charts above are from a new CBS News / YouGov Poll -- done between December 27th and 30th of a nationwide sample of 2,063 adults, with a 2.6 point margin of error.Republicans may still be trying to downplay or cover-up what happened at the U.S. Capitol last January 6th, but the public knows better. The public doesn't like and doesn't support what happened -- and if the GOP continues their present course (and campaigns as Trump wants them to), they could get a nasty surprise in the 2022 elections.
