In order to promote the seminar on the philosophical foundations of quantum gravity (to take place in Chicago in September), and to foster the establishment of a community working in this area, Nick Huggett have started a new blog and website dedicated to the philosophy of quantum gravity at beyondspacetime.net. Well, in fact it is our second attempt of doing so: after an intriguing allegation that we have violated their terms of service, blog.com has put an end to our first try (at beyondspacetime.blog.com). And since they have yet to respond to our inquiries as to the reasons for the shut down, we have decided to take our business elsewhere: to beyondspacetime.net.
Please visit us there–the plan is not only to post updates on the Chicago seminar on the philosophical foundations of quantum gravity, but quite generally promote the field and the interaction between interested philosophers, physicists, and mathematicians.
