andrew bird NEW ANDREW BIRD TRACK MARKS HIGH POINT FOR THE MUSICAL WHISTLE [STREAM]

Yesterday, Andrew Bird (@andrewbird) revealed a stream of “Eyeoneye” the first track off of his new album Break It Yourself set to be released on March 6th via indie label Mom + Pop Records. “Eyeoneye” is uniquely stunning, combining the exotic tone of Middle Eastern rambling guitars with the familiar indie pop/rock sound of Bird’s evocative, soaring vocals. Recorded and produced by Bird along the Mississippi River, this release will mark the 12th studio album from the prolific Chicago-bred multi-instrumentalist.

The album release will coincide with a North American tour beginning in Texas this March. In addition to Bird’s incredible performance, each concert ticket comes with a bonus — a redemption code to download Break It Yourself on its release date and 2 free live EPs, Fake Conversations from his 2011 tour and one from the upcoming 2012 tour.
