andrew bird new album break it yourself NEW ANDREW BIRD ALBUM COMING SOON! [VIDEO]

After scoring the soundtrack for 2011 film Norman, whistle-king Andrew Bird (@andrewbird) is returning with his newest full-length album Break It Yourself on March 6. In anticipation of the release, Bird unveiled the teaser trailer below on his website.

The trailer features a brief glimpse into his Illinois home where much of the album was recorded. Bird will be touring North America in support of Break It Yourself beginning mid-March with stops slated in Texas, Washington, New Mexico, New York, and more. Lucky ticket purchasers will receive download codes for Break It Yourself as well as Fake Conversations, a live EP cut from Bird’s 2011 tour. Not a bad deal at all.

As soon as there’s something to hear from the album, you bet your ass we’ll be posting it.  Stay tuned.
