No one will ever forget the name Felix Baumgartner, the Austrian daredevil that jumped from 39 kilometers (24 miles) above and came free falling down to earth, becoming the first man to jump from space and land on earth successfully. I can’t believe it’s been a year since that epic moment. To celebrate the first anniversary, Red Bull has released a new, lengthy POV video of Baumgartner’s jump with extra never-before-seen footage.

Apparently, the footage was captured by several cameras that has been strapped on Baumgartner’s space suit. The terrifying video shows reaching a speed of 843.6 mph falling towards earth with his heart racing at 167 beats per minute.

“When I was standing there on top of the world so humble, you are not thinking about breaking records. I was thinking about coming back alive. You do not want to die in front of your parents and all these people….I thought ‘please God, don’t let me down.” Baumgartner said after the jump.

Check out the amazing video for the full thrilling footage.
