Cleansers/ face washes with the words oil control, deep clean, pore cleansing literally calls out my name. I was randomly going through the cleanser section on Nykaa and this particular face wash with super affordable price appealed me. So just wanted to give it a try. Hence, here I am with a review on Neutrogena deep clean foaming cleanser after trying for almost a month I guess **Don’t exactly know how long I have been using**

My experience with Neutrogena deep clean foaming cleanser
How’s your the packaging
The packaging is pretty basic. It comes in a tube packaging with a flip open cap. The quality of tube is indeed good **I know it doesn’t matter but when reviewing gotta tell everything, right?
How is the smell and texture of Neutrogena deep clean foaming cleanser
It has a mild fragrance to it. Not too strong and even people with a sensitive nose wouldn’t mind using it.
Coming to the texture, as the name suggests this cleanser is creamy in texture.
Consistency of Neutrogena deep clean foaming cleanser
The consistency is thick. It looks like a white thick soft cream.
Does Neutrogena Foaming Cleanser? How is it?
Now let’s dive into its effectiveness. This Neutrogena foaming cleanser lathers well and it indeed deeply cleanses the face.
As I mentioned, it is thick in consistency so a small amount of product does the job. Yes, of course, you have the choice of using it more or less depending on your skin condition.
After washing off the face with this cleanser, I felt my face squeaky clean. It gave me a matte finish and I can see my face brighter, free from oil. It literally made my face look and feel clean. BUT BUT BUT it also made some parts of my face dry. The area around my mouth felt dry after using this cleanser. Yes, you can hydrate it back using a face moisturizer. But again it’s not a good decision to use a cleanser that dries your skin after every wash.
I have combination skin with an oily T zone, and this face wash removed excess oil from my T zone without making my nose or forehead dry. So I would recommend this Neutrogena foaming cleanser only to people who have extremely oily skin.
This cleanser is definitely not for normal & dry skin people. I have been using it so that I can finish it soon and I will not repurchase it later. But on the days when my skin is producing excess oil than usual, it works well.
If you have very oily skin then you will like it. I loved the way it makes my skin feel cleaner but the drying effect which it gives is the biggest downside of it. The after effect is very similar to The Face shop 365 Herb Day foaming cleanser whereas TFS foaming cleanser gets adjusted to the skin and doesn’t dry out the skin.

Final verdict
This foaming cleanser gives a cleansed feel to the face making the face look clean and bright. But also makes the skin dry. People with very oily skin would love it as it removes the excess oil from the face very effectively.
