Posted on the 24 October 2014 by Nrjperera @nrjperera

Designed by Studio Roosegaarde and made possible by Hejmans Infrastructure, this innovative road becomes first of its kind in the world to open to public. The lines on the road uses luminescent paint that absorbs solar energy during the day to light up during the night, which glows in the dark up to eight hours.

While planning to go global, the company has bigger concepts for the future of Smart Roads including one with a special lane for electric vehicles that recharges the vehicle on the way and many more.
