Marvel and Netflix are gearing up for their second installment of street level heros, which will debut in this fall. Originally titled Marvel’s AKA Jessica Jones it is now simply Marvel’s Jessica Jones. Starring Kristen Ritter as Jessica Jones, the series also features Rachael Taylor as Trish Walker, David Tennant as Kilgrave and Mike Colter as Luke Cage. Read the synopsis of the show below.

Like Daredevil, Jessica Jones is a street-level crimefighter. Unlike Daredevil, Jones uses her extraordinary abilities as a last resort in her position as a private detective on the streets of New York City. In the comic, created by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos, Jones works — and eventually has a child — with Luke Cage, who will receive his own Netflix show sometime next year.
