Nepalilovestory is 1 Years Old Today!

By Hanna

nepalilovestory is one year old today! Thank you to everyone who has supported this blog over the past year!

On this day one year ago I sheepishly uploaded my first post and entered into the world of blogging. I was on my own in the middle of London after M had had to suddenly go back to Nepal. At this time, I was adjusting to not speaking to him often as well as the treacherous time distance. Luckily I met many other lovely friends on my blog who were going through the same experiences and have helped me come so far!

1st_anniversaryThis last year has seen many expected things happen but most importantly, M and I have been reunited and our love has blossomed even more! From the very first week that I started nepalilovestory M fell ill when he was in Nepal and I woke up to the worst text you can receive when in a long distance relationship, it said: I’m in hospital! You can read all about our dilemma here.

From those long days trying to catch each other on skype I then ended up going to Nepal – even after cancelling my flights and rebooking so I could stay longer for four months! Now M is back in London and we are looking forward to spending our first Christmas together. In fact, we are traveling to Scotland to stay at my parents! So do stay tuned for the next blog posts about our wonderful holiday celebrations! I am so happy to say it has been one year of writing about my relationship, 1 and a half years of actually being in my relationship and many more future years to spend with M!

Here are some fun facts and stats about nepalilovestory from the past year:

  • I have written 88 posts
  • Which is about a new post every 4 days! (There will be more – I promise!)
  • I have had 30,104 views since this day last year
  • People have most frequently found my blog from these search terms “nepali love story” “baby names” and “veg momo achar”
  • nepalilovestory is most popularly viewed from the United States, followed by the United Kingdom and Nepal.

As ever I would love to hear from you and if you have any questions or suggestions about future blog posts then get in touch!
