As my mother has a more expensive skin care regimen, she quickly passed this tube on to me. I had just ran out of SafeGuard’s Derma Sense Facial Cleanser, the best replacement for CosRx’s Low-Ph Good Morning Gel, and thought ‘might as well’.

Still, because the Korean brand CosRx was one of the main reasons why my skin got better in the first place, my fears were allayed the tiniest bit because Nature Republic is one of the more popular brands from Korea as well.
Claims: It contains Snail extract and Herbal extracts refreshing skin. This mild cleanser leaves skin smooth and clean.
How to use: Dispense a little amount on your wet and make bubble. Gently massage your wet face with bubble and rinse with lukewarm water.

At first I thought that it wouldn’t be enough to take off my make up but because I’ve been used to lathering up my face twice (once to remove the make up and another to actually clean my face), it wasn’t really that big of a deal. Also since I’ve been using this, I’ve noticed that my skin has grown brighter and I think my pores have actually gotten smaller, which honestly I didn’t think was actually possible. I’ve been wearing less and less make up since I started using the Fresh Herb Snail Cleansing Foam because for the first time in years, I actually feel good going out of the house with just sunscreen on.
One of the downsides of the Fresh Herb Snail Cleansing Foam (aside from the ridiculously long name) is that it can be a bit drying. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this cleanser to anybody with dry skin because I have very oily skin and this mattifies my face so well that I wouldn’t even have to blot for one whole day. It’s dried down any budding zits on my face after just one night – it’s that powerful. Also the scent is a little bit strong for my taste but it wears off after a few minutes.
All in all, I really love it and would highly recommend it to anybody with oily skin that’s a little bit sensitive. I thought that it’d be expensive but I went on Shoppee and found that the Nature Republic Fresh Herb Snail Cleansing Foam was less than 400php, which is a steal if you ask me.
