Natural Remedy: Seasonal Allergy Relief

We just moved to middle Tennessee from Texas.  I didn’t think the seasonal/pollen allergies could get much worse than where where were, but I was wrong.

I usually don’t have much trouble with allergies, but over the last 2 weeks the pollen count has been extremely high.

Anyhow, we spend a lot of time outdoors and I was starting to feel really sick every day.

I had a terrible headache, lots of sinus pressure, dry eyes, and my ears kept getting clogged up.

Not sure why it took me a whole week to remember my favorite allergy remedies: freeze-dried Nettle, and Marshmallow Root.

I prefer the tincture form, but the capsules work well too.

The Nettle works to eliminate the symptoms of seasonal allergies: congestion, headache, itchy eyes, etc.  While the marshmallow root takes care of the congestion.

I noticed a small improvement after the first day, and felt almost completely symptom free after 3 days!

Another awesome way to ward off pollen allergies is to take local bee pollen.  I get mine at the Farmer’s Market, but I have seen the exact same bottle at whole foods!  Just take it with a spoonful of honey, or mixed in with yogurt of a smoothie.

Don’t forget to do regular NASAL RINSES as well to keep your sinus passages clear, as well as helping to avoid a sinus infection!

live well. be well.
