Treat your hair the exact way you will treat your face or more specifically your stomach.
Growing up as a kid, as an african girl, the prominent Dark&Lovely hair products were used on my hair.
Going to boarding house at an early age also make me capable of taking care of my hair and others without any help.
I can count the times I visit a beauty salon to get my hair done, my mum, gran, aunts or friends are my salon and I also do it myself most of the time.
As every dark skin girl will tell you my african hair are quite a piece of work, we all mostly relax, weave or just do any protective styling to avoid what we all think to be unmanageable afro.
my hair has been through every possible "torture" but finally I learn that I am one lucky African girl that should be treat her hair with some respect.
So to me my hair is like my diet, what you put inside is the result you and others will see.(I had a post on its importance in the You are what you eat: 7 foods that help keep you beautiful post)
I have been natural for more than four year and I used only organic products or those that I am sure do not contain The 5 harmful ingredients that are dangerous not only to my hair but to my health and the environment.

My love when I want to make my afro big and stay in tact in windy or zillion percent humidity weather.Smells amazing too and as every other Mastic Spa product contains 100% natural ingredients.
I use it once a week after every wash and leave to rest for 15 minute while in the shower.Makes my hair so soft and easy to comb beyond my expectation.
