This week, May 7-13, is National Postcard Week! When I was very young, I used to collect postcards. In fact, it was one of the first collections I remember having. Now when I travel, I still buy postcards, but they end up in a scrapbook along with the rest of the ephemera from the trip.
To celebrate this week, I decided to try my hand at making an old style travel postcard. I love learning new things, and this gave me an excuse to try some new techniques in Adobe Photoshop. I made it to the postcard standard size of 4 1/4 inches by 6 inches. I did not have any printed, but if you wish to download and print it, make sure scaling is turned off or set to 100%:
