NaPoWriMo 2020, Here We Come (and More News!)

Posted on the 30 March 2020 by Cendrinemedia @cendrinemedia

Hello everyone!

I'm delighted to announce that I will once again be taking part in NaPoWrimo (National Poetry Writing Month) 2020, which starts on April 1st.

This year, I am challenging myself by working with several Japanese poetry forms: haiku, choka, dodoitsu, katauta, sedoka, tanka, and waka. My own poetry form, the sixku, also counts, since it is based on the haiku. So, in total, 8 forms, all inspired by my own photography.

Starting Wednesday, I will post new poetry-graphy every day on the blog.

Auroras & Blossoms Poetry Journal is taking part in NaPoWriMo too!

We want to celebrate NaPoWriMo 2020 in style.

From April 1st until May 15th 2020, we will be accepting submissions of positive / uplifting / inspirational poems written during the event for potential feature in a special digital NaPoWriMo 2020 anthology! We would like to gather 50 poems.

So, don't be shy and get writing! Then, submit your work here.

Songs in our Paths: Haiku & Photography (Volume 1) is out on April 14th!

Book number 24 is on its way. Check out the cover below:

Songs in Our Paths: Haiku & Photography (Volume 1) is a collection of 25 haiku and photos taken in France, Canada and the United States. Each pairing is an opportunity to reflect on the world that surrounds us and uncover its mundane, but often overlooked beauty. You can already pre-order your copy here.
