Welcome to day 1 of NaPoWriMo 2020! Are you as excited as I am?
I will start my participation with a choka.
The choka is a poem written in alternating 5-7 syllable lines. It often concludes with an envoy (5-7-7 syllables) or a tanka (5-7-5-7-7 syllables).
The choka can be of any length. It is unrhymed and non-metrical.
