Naked Flushed Palette by Urban Decay Review

Naked Flushed Palette by Urban Decay ReviewAlready being a fan of Urban Decay's original Naked palette and Naked2 palette, I was super excited when I heard UD was coming out with a Naked Flushed palette.
Naked Flushed is a three-in-one palette that really does give your face a natural glowy and flushed look. The palette features a matte bronzer and blush as well as a silky pink-ish highlighter.
If you travel a lot or like to have some backup makeup in your bag at work, this palette would be good for you. All three products are in one pan  in a compact that is just a tad smaller than your iPhone.
The bronzer is matte and isn't too dark for lighter complexions nor is it too light for a darker or tan complexion. It really is a great color and texture to give you a little bit of a bronzed look without looking orange or brown. I apply the bronzer with a Real Techniques contouring brush and apply it in the hollows of my cheeks (suck your cheeks in like a fish and you'll see where to apply it), the outer edge of my forehead, face and jawline. I extend the bronzer down onto my next to create an even tone all over. I also apply the bronzer to the sides of my nose to give it the appearance of being a bit smaller. The way that I apply bronzer is much like contouring your face, but not as dramatic since the Naked Flushed bronzer isn't very dark.

The highlighter is a little on the pink side in the pan, but it doesn't look pink on my skin. I have been using the highlighter just above my cheek bones and down the bridge of my nose for a natural-looking glow. In fact, I just use my fingers to apply this.
The blush, I've found, is a really great natural color that works with mostly all of the eye shadow and lip colors I wear. Sometimes I need a peachy blush and sometimes I need a more pink blush depending on the other colors I use in my look, but the Naked Flushed blush seems to work with them all. When I apply the blush, I use a Real Techniques multi task brush and apply it to the apples of my cheeks (smile in your mirror and you'll see exactly where to apply), my temples and a little on the end of my nose. Just like with the bronzer, I extend the blush a bit down onto my neck to ensure I have an even tone between my face and neck.

I apply all three of the products after I've already put on and blended my concealer and foundation. Naked Flushed products are great on skin without foundation too if you just want a little color on your face without fussing with foundation -- I do this sometimes when I'm running errands and this will be great in the summer when it's hot and I don't feel like wearing foundation.
If you want to try it for yourself, you can find it at Ulta, Sephora or Urban Decay's website. It costs $30.
Have you tried Naked Flushed yet? What techniques do you to apply the trio?
