Naked 2 Palette - £36
The Naked Palettes have always had a lot of hype in the online beauty world, with beautiful pigmented colours in easy to wear shades, and something about them just sucked me right in. This is actually the first big palette of eyeshadows that I have ever bought and I am really glad that I went for this one because it has some absolutely beautiful colours in it. The first thing that struck me as I opened the palette was the wide range of shadows. There is a mixture of mattes, shimmers and glitters going from almost white to black. Because of this, they are so versatile, and this palette could create a look for any occasion. Since buying it, I don't think I have worn any other shadows on my eyes! The formulation of the products is beautiful too, they are tightly packed and so therefore almost creamy to touch, the color pay-off is absolutely amazing, a swipe on the brush and you get a pretty much opaque color and something that lasts all day. From left to right the colours are Foxy, an off-white matte, Half-Baked, a golden glitter, Booty Call, a pale pinkish white shimmer, Chopper, a copper shimmer, Tease, a matte purple toned brown, Snakebite, a dark almost olive brown shimmer, Suspect, a cool toned shimmer, Pistol, a light gray shimmer, Verve, a silver shimmer, YDK, a cool brown glitter, Busted, a dark gray shimmer and Blackout, a matte black. For everyday eyes, at the moment I have been wearing Foxy all over the lid with Tease in the crease and Blackout along the lash line replacing eyeliner. I have also been looking color combinations on the internet for more dramatic eyes, so I may do another post with what I come up with, let me know what you think!
