Hair removal isn't really the most glamorous of topics, and not spoken about very much in the world of beauty blogging. Whilst it might seem a bit awkward to talk about, and whatever your personal preferences in hair removal (totally up to you and don't let anyone else dictate), it can be really helpful to hear other people's tips instead of brushing these topics under the rug. So today, let's get personal and talk about the hairy business.
I thought I'd break it down today into a couple of sections, starting with leg hair. I started, as with most girls with shaving, before progressing onto epilators over the past couple of years. Whilst I can't exactly call the experience pain less, it's not bad. The new 'bye-bye pain' formula peels off taking the hair with it and leaving behind silky soft skin which apparently can last for up to four weeks, whilst the depilatory creams work chemically to literally disintegrate the hair and leave a soft, smooth and moisturised finish. Gone are the days of fishy smells, these are fresh and floral, with the added addition of being so much softer on the skin.
Luckily, the new range also caters for more precise applications too. Whilst there are strips of wax for your legs, there are also smaller ones for your brows and upper lip, and creams too. Much more sensitive, you can apply these with no fear of burning skin or an embarrassing red rash appearing afterwards. For those that want a quicker fix than tweezers, these ones are for you. The range also caters for the bikini line and armpits too, offering precise brush on formulas which can remove hair in a matter of minutes, perfect for applying when time is tight and there are several no touch applicators that mean clearing up is minimal too.
Win-win formulas all-round and I can't really fault them for long-lasting (perfect for festivals and holidays), kind to skin, smooth and moisturising results.
