Nailpolish.co.uk : Tried & Tested

By Hollysbeautybox @hollysbeautybox
When I was contacted by Nailpolish.co.uk to ask if I would like to be sent a couple of nail polishes to try out I jumped at the chance.
I always love trying out new products and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to ditch the false nails for a wee while and try out something new. I'm all about 'trying new things' right now in case you hadn't noticed...

I was sent a few products to try out, some of which included a cuticle pusher and trimmer. I'm not really all that fussy about doing this normally because I always find it such a faff but I tried these out and was actually impressed by how much longer my nails looked after I had pushed the nail bed back. I reckon I'll carry on using this every couple of weeks but not every time I paint my nails.

I was also sent Nail Apothecary base coat. I always apply a base coat to my nails because I like wearing false nails and end up with glue ridges and damaged nails from where I've yanked off a false nail that I thought was getting too dirty after just a few hours (Don't act like you've never done it!). This one went on really well and filled in any ridges. It only took a minute or so to dry and gave me a really nice surface to work with.

To paint my nails, I was sent two OPI polishes in "Christmas Gone Plaid" and "I Snow You Love Me". OPI are highly pigmented and are a bit of a fail safe brand - they never let you down.  I was also sent a Seche Vite Top Coat which is fast drying (literally a minute!) and makes your nail polish last for aaaages.
The lovelies at Nailpolish.co.uk also sent across a 'Konad' style set which included some stencils, a scraper and a stamp.
Here's how it works:
Nailpolish.co.uk : Tried & Tested  I was pretty impressed with the service I received from nailpolish.co.uk, especially since they sent me a mini pack of love hearts. They know how to impress me.
