Nail Biting Confession...

By Jayfletch22 @Jayfletch22
I have this horrible habit of biting my nails. I know, it's kinda embarrassing. I have been doing it since I was a little girl. I have tried so many times to quit, and usually the habit will go away for a month or so, and then when school or my job starts getting stressful,  I start biting. I hate it and I NEVER do it in public, but because of it, I rarely have pretty painted nails.
I am constantly trying to grow them out and break the habit. I try painting them while they are still short so that I won't bite them again but usually they look so weird and gross with a nice color on them while being so short and jagged. I am a  cashier, and since I am always handing people receipts and money, I am  self conscious that people are judging me by my short, jagged, unpolished gross nails. Hahaha I'm so self conscious, it's pathetic! Nail biting confession...        The other day, I painted them a pretty red, but I HATED how the red made them stand out. So while I was raiding my nail polish stash, I found this pretty OPI color, and it worked perfectly!

Nail biting confession...        Since it is a nude, it doesn't draw much attention to how short my nails are. I could have just put a clear coat over my bare nail so I wouldn't bite them, but I still felt that the clear gave my nails undeserving attention. Nail biting confession...         The tan is perfect for camouflaging the damage I did while biting them and making them appear slightly longer because they now blend in with my skin. Seriously, I can't stop looking at them because they don't look gross anymore. And HOPEFULLY this will be the end of my biting habit....but I've said that hundreds of times in the past! Nail biting confession...
