Bossa nova meets art-pop on Hobby Horse, the new single by quartet London based Mylar. It is a slick production as a blanket for a song about obsession, teetering on the brink of something innocent into something unsound. Mixed emotions are always a fertile launchpad for creating something out of the ordinary. It will make it clear which people are actually willing to look beyond the packaging and listen to the words.
