I recently took a visit to the San Diego Zoo. The zoo is massive, and the landscaping is absolutely stunning. If you ever visit, you should definitely bring along some tennis shoes - you will have to walk quite a bit throughout the day. I was personally struck by how much the Lost Forest portion of the zoo resembled Jurassic Park - complete with giant cages. I can dream.
