My True Love - Krispy Kreme

One 's 78th Birthday and in spite quality characteristic you might not know about me is that I am a loyalist. I do not commit to very many things, because you know I always want to retain my right to change-my-mind but if I do, then you have a fan, a customer, a friends, a supporter for life. And on that note I am loyal to Krispy Kreme.
I first time I ever had a Krispy Kreme doughnut was in London, at my cousin's place. And with that first bite I was hooked. Back then it was not retailed at any grocery store. Hence, you had to make that special trip to Harrods, stand in a long queue (where they gave you a free doughnut! Y'know for being loyal enough to wait). Pretty soon that became my weekend ritual. Instead of going to a temple, I went to Krispy Kreme at Harrods. Soon after they opened one at Selfridges (which was more on my way) and slowly as various retail outlets which only made my life easier.
Twenty years later, I am still a loyalist to them. I refuse to even try any other doughnuts, because no matter what anyone says they never taste as good as Krispy Kreme. On July 10th, it was Krispy Krememy health, I made a trip down to the nearest store and tried their Birthday Cake Batter and the Brownie Batter doughnut. And to say that they were delicious would be an understatement. If you are a doughnut lover, like myself, I would strongly compel you to try them both. You would thank me! ;)
