My Spoken Word Piece

This last week for me, has been amazing,
especially being a member of Team Education,
I assisted in making a better nation,
by tutoring kids in division and multiplication,
All it takes is some patience,
and when it comes to crime and blight I learned a lot at the Imagination Station,
And how grassroots organizations are developing new programs for Detroit's cultivation,
I met new friends, that I'll rather call shivs,
That are helping Detroit become a better place to live,
And to all of you, never change in your ways,
Because you gave me 6 birthdays in the last six days ;-)
