My Recipe For a Cake with a homemade walnut cream
Ingredients:
6 eggs
150 g sugar
120 g flour
1 lemon
For the cream:
200 g of butter
120 g caster sugar
2 eggs
1 tablespoon milk
160 g ground walnuts


Method:
Beat the eggs with the sugar well, add the sifted flour and grated lemon peel. Mix thoroughly and pour into a baking dish, covered with oiled paper. Bake in a moderate oven. We make the cream as we mix the butter and the sugar and gradually add the eggs one by one. We pour the hot milk over the walnuts, allow to cool and add to the butter mixture. When the cake is cool we cut it into two layers and put some of the cream between them. We cover the top and the walls of the cake with the remaining cream.
