My October 2014 Favorites – Blog & Youtube

The big reveal — October Favorites 2014! I tried to keep it short and sweet this month. So sweet that I find myself saying – at least once a day – I should have mentioned this in my favorites. LOL. The best part is the 2 months left in 2014 for me to share all my go-to-things. You can also watch my favorites video in this post.

MAC Mineralize Volcanic Ash Exfoliator

This must-have facial exfoliater is nothing less than amazing. I use it 2 to 3 times a week {I wish I could use it everyday}. It leaves my face super smooth and radiant. I can’t stop touchihng nmy face after using it. It contains detoxifying charcoal and sugar crystals. It retails for $29.

California Makeup Palette Collection

These all-you-need, petite palettes are great for everyday use as well as on-the-go. They have everything needed to achieve a great look including eyeshadow, blush, highlight and contour. The come in 3 creative styles: (1) Hollywood, (2) Malibu and (3) San Francisco .

Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen, Grow & Restore Leave-In Conditioner

This has been my go-to hair grooming product for the last 4 months. It replaced my gel, leave-in conditioner and hair moisturizer. It’s pretty much my hair’s one man show. It contains Jamaican Caster Oil which promotes hair growth and thickness. It doesn’t cake up or make my hair heavy either. Love ♥ it.

Jessup Makeup Brush Set

If you are in need of extra makeup brushes, I highly recommend these affordable brush sets by Jessup. You can get them on eBay for about $7 {including shipping}. If you are skeptical about buying brushes from outside the country on eBay, BH Cosmetics also carries a wide selection of budget-friendly brush sets.

FitBit Band

If you are subscribed to me on youtube, you will notice I’m always wearing a black band on my left arm. This is my FitBit band and it tracks fitness level by monitoring my sleep habits, eating habits and even physical activity. This little gadget is beyond impressibe. I’m pretty sure I will be doing a full-fledge review of it in the near feature since I’ve been wearing 3 months now and I can’t get enough of it. Its awesome.

So that’s my October favorites for this year. I hope you guys have a chance to check so of these items out and give me feedback on your experiences with them.
