Hi loves!
It's almost New Year and every year I put together a list of things I aim to do for the year ahead. This year, i thought I would share my New Years resolutions with you all.
I won't go into reflecting over 2014, because I have something planned for that on Hogmanay (New years Eve) but there are a few things I have learned from the past year that I want to put a positive spin on for 2015.
Here are my New Years Resolutions;-
1 - To be happier. This sounds a bit 'Miss World' but I definitely want to do more to make myself happier in 2015. For example, over the year, I almost felt guilty to laugh at times because of situations that were happening, I felt as though it was wrong to be happy and so I kind of 'limited' happy things.
2 - To let it go. LET IT GOOOOO!! Haha sorry! I couldnt resist. I am one of those people who holds on to everything - not physically that would just be weird - but emotionally. I hold onto friendships which have blatantly fizzled out, I hold onto arguments and worry about them, I hold onto health concerns and financial concerns. I'm just a real worrier and for 2015, I aim to 'Let it go' a bit more.
3 - To be healthier. Everyone always says 'to loose weight' or 'to get fit' and it is a bit of a cliche but in 2014, I realised more than ever how precious life is and how important it is to look after myself as best I can. I lost 24lbs in 2014 which might not seem like a huge amount to you but to me it was a real accomplishment and I really aim to loose some more weight in 2015 - more because of health reasons than vanity reasons but it's always nice to feel good about yourself!
4 - To document more of my life. As a blogger and vlogger (who has majorly neglected youtube since October - sorry!) you would think that I document enough of my life, but actually, I rarely document things for personal use, for example in 2014 I was invited to several blogger events and brand promotions but never kept the invitations, and I went to Edinburgh with my family and didn't print out any personal pictures.I really want to make the most of my memories and so will definitely be documenting more of my life.
5 - To spend more time with those I love. Pretty self explanatory. After having a really rubbish year where I lost loved ones, I really want to spend more time with the loved ones I still have.
What are your new Years Resolutions?
