I was on duty to do the school run this morning, yes I have my husband trained to take it in turns, usually if I am nice to him the night before I get a lie in (an extra half hour) and he insists on getting up. The alarm rings at 7am, I hit snooze, this continues till the husband nudges me at 7.45am.
Time for a coffee before I wake the kids. Three kids fed, dressed, cleaned and ready. I have time for half a cup of coffee before we leave. Back home I have 40 minutes to get little miss ready for her taster session at big school, she is there from 9.30-10.30am today. So off I go again.
Back home Kaiden and Kody are playing rather nicely so its time to catch up on the ever growing washing pile. My day is going relatively well so far.
At 11.55am I dash to grab the clean clothes needed for Kia and Kaiden to go to nursery, I have learned that getting them dressed at the last minute means at least they arrive at nursery looking half clean.
“Mummy Kady has had a poo” Kia shouts
Great I think, I have just bloody changed and dressed him and now I have 5 minutes before we have to leave. Fastening Kia’s coat I grab a nappy and go to find Kaiden

Kaiden has not only taken a dump, but he’s taken ALL his clothes off, including his nappy and he’s standing on my fluffy cream carpet with shit dangling out of his bum and its spread all over his legs and he’s even tried to grab it by the looks of it, as its also in his hair.
My carpet resembles something nasty after I smear it in even more. The vanish will have to come out later, I need to go.
I have 2 choices, quickly clean him up and march him off to nursery, or bath him and keep him home for the day.
I grab a clean face cloth and start washing him down, taking no notice of the fact my hands are now covered in shit.
We manage to get out the door only 3 minutes late and off he goes to nursery. I am a naughty mummy, I should have bathed him, but he can have a bath tonight and its only poo right?
