My hero is a liar,
I know now that it’s true.
He promised we could keep our plan,
Until his face turned blue.
Now millions have no coverage.
What if they get sick?
They can’t afford a doctor,
Their lives don’t mean a lick.
We loved him and believed him,
He promised to be good.
How were we to know
He’d cheat us if he could.
To hurt so many people
Takes a heart so cold.
It really makes me wonder
What other lies he’s told?
