Merry Christmas! I hope you're all having a wonderful holiday. One of my favorite things to do each year is to watch Christmas movies. Here are my top 5 favorites.
It's a Wonderful Life
What can I say? It’s a classic, feel-good story with one of my favorite actors, Jimmy Stewart. I prefer to watch the original black-and-white version, but if you'll only watch colorized, that's okay with me, too. Just watch it and enjoy!
White Christmas
I love the music although I fast-forward through a couple of the weird dances. My favorite scene is when Bing Crosby is trying to keep a straight face while singing and dancing to the song "Sisters"!
National Lampoon's Christmas VacationCreepy Uncle Eddie makes me laugh every time.
ScroogeThis is the musical version of
A Christmas Carol with Albert Finney. The wonderful songs really add to the enjoyment of the movie, but I love other versions, too.
The Year Without a Santa ClausThis isn’t technically a movie, but I love the battling Miser Brothers: Heat Miser and Cold Miser. Maybe it's because I have four sons, so I can relate to the sibling squabbling and competition. And the mini-versions of them are adorable!
So, what are your favorite Christmas movies or programs? Merry Christmas!
