My Experience with the Elixir Products | Skincare

By Shivalisingla

Hey! I hope you are doing well. So, I received a few products from the Brand called “Elixir” a few weeks back and to be honest, I really liked them a lot. So, I thought of sharing them with you too. So, let’s get started right away:

Elixir Products | Skincare

Elixir Whipped Body Butter

The body butter has a glass jar kinda packaging which is quite nice as it’s really easy to apply all over the body by taking reqd. amount of scoops directly from the jar. The cap of the jar is wrapped beautifully with a coloured cloth with the Elixir tag over it. It looks really traditional which I personally really like.

The product has an off-white colour and has really smooth and creamy and buttery texture just the way a body butter has to be. It glides on the skin smoothly and hydrates the skin really well. I have really dry skin when it comes to my body as compared to my face. So, this product works great for me and hydrates my skin quite well and for a longer period of time.

It’s a butter so it’s a little on the heavier side and hence, you can alter the amount you use as per the requirement of your skin type. I think it’s great for normal to dry skin people, especially in winter season.

The only minus point for me is the scent of the product which is not bad at all, but it’s a little loud for me. You might like it, but personally, I am a kind of person who prefers mild fragrances. Apart from the scent I highly recommend this product to all of you. So, This body butter looks and feels great and hence, go ahead and buy a few for yourself and your family too.

This product also comes in the same kinda packaging as the Elixir Whipped Body Butter. It has a really soft texture which is not really harsh on the skin.

How to use:

-Mix it with buttermilk (Thin consistency).

-Massage it on the skin for 60 seconds post application on the skin.

-Leave it for 10 minutes on the skin (face/body) & don’t let it dry completely.

-If you feel dryness, dip your fingertips in buttermilk or rosewater & massage it for 30 seconds.

-Rinse it off with plain water followed by any face mist or rosewater.

-Avoid using soap.

-Use it twice or thrice a week.

My Experience with Anti-Tan | Complexion Enhancer

So, I use it just as mentioned above and it does pretty good job. I apply it like a face mask and then I leave this on the skin for 1 minute and then I massage/scrub my face or skin in circular motions and rinse it off as said above with plain water as suggested.

The texture of the mix is such that it doesn’t irritate my combination facial skin or body skin. It doesn’t have a loud scent which is a plus point for me and it does work as an anti-tan mix when you use it twice a week continuously. So, overall a really good product in this price range.

It works even better if used with a good quality rosewater like the one by Kama Ayurveda or any other organic brand. The product does help to remove the dead skin layer with its particles because of the massage that we give to our skin after application. So, it kinda works two-way as a scrub and mask as well.

Hence, you don’t have to spend extra money for a separate product. I highly recommend this product to all of you.
