I have been waiting to write this blog for a long time now. I just haven't sat down and really write it. I'm actually a little embarrassed to write it but I have been reading Mal over at Mal Smiles. She has been a true inspiration for me.
Growing Up I never had to worry about what I was eating or working out. I was just naturally skinny. Actually way to skinny for my own good. In high school I never weighted over 100 pounds no matter what I did. I was actually picked on all through middle and high school for being too skinny. When I got to college I still really didn't have that problem. I ate whatever I wanted with no workout plan.
It wasn't until a few years ago that I started gaining weight and quickly. I would casually go to the gym, but not really work though. I noticed a small difference when we were living in Topeka, Kansas. Then once we moved to OKC we ate better. Big factor was that we were on a VERY strict budget, and didn't eat out so much. Towards the end of our time in OKC it got BAD!! The most I've ever weighted BAD!! None of my clothes really fit right so I had to buy new clothes.
Now we are in Tempe. Things started out good, but slipped again. I was back where I never wanted to be. UGH!! I just get so defeated when I step on the scale and see a little bit of difference, then the hubs gets on and it's almost double.
I need to make a change. I see different pinterest workouts, and follow them for a while then it goes by the wayside. I tried hot yoga, and really liked that a lot. It's just so expensive to continue the membership. Maybe one day, right?
So, blogger friends. What do you do to workout? How do you stay motivated? Let me know.
