My 5 Step Monsoon Skincare Routine

By Jhilmil D Saha @jhilmildsaha
Hey guys, what’s up? How are you dealing with the rains? It’s hard to take care of our skin during this rough weather but it’s equally important as well. So, today I’ll be sharing with you my 5 step easy skincare routine for the monsoons. If you know me then you know I’m super lazy when it comes to skincare and hence if I can follow this routine daily, you can too. So, without further ado let’s get into it.

My 5 step Skincare Routine.

· Cleansing:

First step towards a healthy skin is cleansing. During this season, my skin turns into a grease ball. So, I need an oil clearing Facewash which doesn’t dry my skin out. I’m using a Facewash that clears out my oil without making my skin dry.

· Toning:

What’s the next step towards healthy skin? It’s toning your skin regularly. I use an astringent toner because that’s what works best for my skin. I’m currently loving and using an Astringent toner. Now, I know astringent toner tingles a lot and if that bothers you a lot, here’s a trick-or-treating dilute your cotton pad with some water and the tingling will lessen down. Also, you can use any kind of toner that suits you best.

· Moisturizing:

No matter what your skin type is, your skin needs hydration. I personally love the universally loved Nivea Creme. It is highly moisturizing and keeps skin hydrated for long time. It is also very affordable and is available on Notino.co.uk

· Masking:

Masking is really important as well. It purifies your skin and heals it. Now, masking can be really hectic sometimes. Worry not because we have sheet masks to the rescue. A sheet mask a day keeps the problem at bay. A lot of options are available nowadays, thanks to Korean sheetmasks.

· Lips:

While majority of us forget the most delicate part of our face, it’s more than important to take care of our lips. Lips have no sebaceous glands of their own and hence needs utmost care. I personally love the Nivea Lip Balm and have been using it for years now. It’s a very nice lip balm and does not feel very heavy or sticky on the lips. The packaging is simple. It’s one of the most reasonable lip balms out there.

That was it for my easy peasy monsoon skincare routine. Hope you find it helpful and your skin becomes healthy. That’s all for today- bye bye and take care.
