A little classical music on a Monday night never hurt anyone, right?
That's just one reason why you should take the kids to the Brahms Festival. We are on a bit of an artsy kick in our house, visiting art museums and such...so this is right up our alley!
The Youth Orchestras of San Antonio will perform with the Children's Chorus of San Antonio at the Brahms Reimagined Concert this coming Monday, February 11th, 7:30 pm at Trinity University's Laurie Auditorium.
The concert is a part of the annual Brahms Festival, celebrating the romantic composer, Johannes Brahms. This family-friendly concert will include pieces from Sheng - Black Swan and Choral Selections, Hungarian Dances and Piano Quartet No. 1 from Brahms, himself.
Tickets can be purchased online through Ticketmaster and check out more Brahms Festival events at http://www.brahmssa.com.
Hope you get a chance to see some amazing kids! I'm hoping it will inspire a little bit more of this in our house...check out the twins!
Happy Friday!
