Plot: Jason Keaton befriends and documents a serial killers obsession with murdering women. They both hope for fame by screening their film at the Cannes International Film Festival.

Story: Murderous Intentions starts when documentary filmmaker Jason joins serial killer Richard (Landells). Jason wants to learn how Richard operates as his reputation has created fear in the city. The pair conduct murders, and interview people close to the case.

As Richard reveals more of his secrets in his selection process, the two begin committing more murders. However, the longer they spend together, the more Jason gets consumed by Richard’s actions.

The movie follows a documentary filmmaker who teams up with a serial killer to document their actions. They want to make a movie for the Cannes International Film Festival but soon go on a rampage through the city.

Best Parts

This movie has a raw feeling about everything that happens. It creates a layer of disturbance throughout the movie. For the shoestring budget, we get some uncomfortable moments that can make you feel uncomfortable during the interviews. It also creates a found footage feeling that feels more natural, rather than a gimmick.

Worst Parts

While a large amount of the footage brings a natural feeling found footage. Some moments feel out of place, forced and too close at times.
