Murder Rates In The Largest U.S. Metropolitan Areas

I found this to be interesting, and thought you might also. The charts below (using information from CBS.com) show the murder rates for the 60 largest metropolitan areas in the United States for 2017. The rates show the number of murders per 100,000 people. I was a bit surprised at the rates of some areas (and I expect you might be also).
