New to the Muller Light range are these desserts in three flavours: Mischievous Milk Chocolate, Wickedly White Chocolate, and Frivolous Fudge. They seem quite similar to the new Cadbury Pots Of Joy. As you would expect from the Muller Light range, they are low in fat, only 99 calories per pot, and also have the benefit of being vegetarian.
I prefer to go for the low fat or light versions of yogurts and desserts if I can, so they appeal to me on that basis.
The texture of this Muller Light dessert is slightly thinner than similar desserts I've tried, in that it's not overly thick or creamy. It's still a lovely smooth and glossy consistency. For me, the flavor was more reminiscent of caramel rather than fudge. It reminded me a bit of the caramel taste in condensed milk, with a hint of butterscotch in there too.
Overall, these are very tasty desserts and make a great lighter alternative to the Cadbury Pots of Joy. Even though they're not as delicious, they are still tasty enough to satisfy a sweet craving. My local Tesco only had the Frivolous Fudge flavor available, but I'll definitely be looking out for the other two chocolate based flavours.
