So, as you've guessed if you been reading my posts, I've been busy testing no egg recipes for baking.
These cookies still had the chewy texture which I thought was great, as my head was thinking that it's the egg that gives it the chewy texture, but maybe it's not.
What is interesting is that M&Ms seems to bake a lot better than Smarties! The M&Ms seem hold more of the colour, without discoloring in the oven, Smarties tend to fade in colour when baked.
Ingredients
100g butter
70g condense milk
1 tsp vanilla
50g golden syrup
50g yogurt
50g brown sugar
100g muesli
100g oats
50g flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
100g M&Ms
Add butter into a large mixing bowl, and beat until softened.
Add condensed milk, golden syrup and vanilla and mix on medium speed for about a 1 minute.
Add yogurt and brown sugar to the mixture and re mix until mixed well.
Add muesli and oats to the butter mixture and re mix.
Mix in the flour, baking soda and baking powder.
Add in the M&Ms to the mixture.
Mix all the ingredients well.Using a small scoop, add the cookie mix to a greased baking tray or stone.
Make sure they are slightly spread apart as these cookies will spread.
Bake the cookies at 170c for 11-12 minutes, allow to cool for about 2 minutes and move onto a cooling rack.
Store in an airtight container and enjoy!
