Hello everyone!

I am sure hope you all missed me

:P
I’m posting on the blog after a fortnight now. And I am not sure if I’ll be regular even now.

Life has changed a lot this month. Well, it wasn’t a surprise, I knew there’ll be a drastic change but still when things actually happen they are totally different than what we ever imagined!

From the title of the post and if you follow me on facebook/instagram, you might know I’m in the United States at the moment. No, not on vacation. I’ve come here for pursuing my masters in Chicago.

Besides the studies(yes I’m excited about the studies too:P), I’m also quite excited about blogging from here. Covering products that aren’t available in India as well as to know the blogging scene here

:D

To be honest, you can’t imagine my excitement about getting my hands on the endless products on my wishlist that I had only seen on international blogs previously. And no, I’m not talking about the expensive stuff, but there’s so much of drugstore makeup that these brands don’t launch in India, God knows why!

I have visited US and UK before but that time I was a kid and obviously not interested in anything other than the chocolates here.

:P
but now, it’s the makeup too along with the chocolates that I pounce upon
:P

I’ll show you all what I’ve bought since I’ve come here. It’ll be a long post full of pictures

:P
I’ve already bought lots of stuff from my wishlist and also added new stuff to the list! There’s just so much makeup here, what can a girl do!!!!!!!
:P

Besides the sweet things, there are some sad ones too. I have never ever lived so far from my parents. In fact, I haven’t even lived more than 3 days out from my home. I have never made a full meal nor have I done much of household chores ever. Yes, I’ve lived a pampered, comfortable and sheltered life till now. And now I’m living in an apartment with a friend, in Chicago, so so far from my parents. I have to cook, study, clean the house, buy groceries, take out time for blogging basically do everything on my own. It’s a very big change but I want to challenge myself and I hope I can do it successfully, learn a lot of lessons on the way and then become a better person and make my parents feel proud of me! Well yes that’s the goal for now! To be honest, it’s getting extremely tough for me. I can’t seem to be able to stop crying most of the time

:(

And rest all is good. Chicago is an amazing city. We went to Willis tower. The skydeck on the 103rd floor on top of that is mindblowing!

You’re standing on a glass ledge on the 103rd floor, it’s scary at first but feels amazing! That’s me and my sister standing on that ledge!

The people are extremely friendly and helpful! It seems unbelievably good how helpful people are here! And my university is amazing too! The campus is so huge, I am sure I can never see the whole campus

:P
and my subjects are too tough, I won’t talk about that
:P

And people mostly walk to places here in Chicago, we have to walk so much everyday, I hope I lose some weight atleast

:P

I’ll try my best to blog regularly but no promises, sorry

:P
I hope I can settle into a comfortable routine soon and then will try n blog as much as I can
:)

And what’s up with all of you? Do share what’s new in your lives in the comments below! I miss you all!!!

And do follow me on instagram for my updates as I’m most active on that these days, actually ever since I got my iphone

:P
