Movie Review – Michael Clayton (2007)

By Manofyesterday

Director: Tony Gilroy

Stars; George Clooney, Tilda Swinton, Tom Wilkinson

In this film George Clooney plays a guy called Michael Clayton who has an amorphous job where he fixes legal cases. However, he’s in some financial trouble and while he’s handling a case he discovers that some big corporation is covering up some information and blah blah blah I’m not going to waste any more words on this.

Sheesh this movie was dull. I don’t know what it is about George Clooney, he’s a good actor but man does he pick some boring films. This is one is…there’s barely anything interesting about it. It was only well past the hour mark when anything remotely exciting happened and the whole thing is a big exercise in ‘who the hell cares?’. This is just a nothing film. There’s nothing here for anybody unless you like George Clooney, and even then you might as well just stare at a picture of him for a couple of hours.
