A teenager tries to find a spare part to fix his car and encounters a number of disparate characters along the way.
This film is 90 minutes long. It feels like 90,000 years. Sheesh avoid this film at all costs. I was bored to death. It’s dull, mundane, uninteresting. A guy walks around town and meets people. Why make a film about this? Who thought this was a good idea when it was being made? There’s minimal dialog and a lot of scenes of walking. And sitting. And more walking. Oh man, it’s painful. No-one has any charisma, there’s no reason to be interested, I might as well make a film of me walking down to the shops. There are long moments of blackness that separate some of the cuts and this just emphasises the slow pace. The only thing I can think is that the director wanted to torture his audience.
As you can tell, I didn’t like Lake Tahoe at all. I can only think the director was attempting to go for a poetic, philosophical meaning but he forgot to make it interesting. Avoid at all costs.
