There’s a new bookstore in town!
I’ve discovered my new favorite place.
Tattered Cover was fine, but it just didn’t have what I needed in a bookstore. Namely, so many books that the staff can’t be bothered to put prices on anything, piles and piles of stuff to sort through, and an owner that wants to talk Croatian politics and travel literature.
I picked up Balkan Ghosts: A Journey Through History by Robert D. Kaplan and Travels: Collected Writings, 1950-1993 by Paul Bowles all for the grand price of $13.77. West Side Books is way cheaper than Tattered Cover, just one more reason it’s my new favorite!
